William Paterson University invites applications for adjunct faculty for the Department of Kinesiology within the College of Science and Health.

Department Overview:
The Department of Kinesiology is comprised of four undergraduate programs (Exercise Science, Physical Education, Sport Management, and Sports Medicine) and three graduate programs (Athletic Training, Exercise Physiology, and Sport Administration).  The department fosters intellectual curiosity, creative problem-solving, and lifelong learning.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Using the course outline as a guide, develop relevant syllabi in order to deploy course content, objectives, and methods of student assessment for up to six (6) credits per semester in an undergraduate course.
  • Contribute to student success by providing consistent and effective support and guidance through role modeling and mentoring.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Earned Master’s or Ph.D. in Kinesiology or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • One or more years teaching in higher education.
  • Ability to teach Physiology of Exercise a plus.
