Grounds Worker

Mondays - Fridays, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

(Range: 10 - Salary $35,137.97 - $48,962.60)
 
William Paterson University invites applications for the position of Grounds Worker.  The position is under the direction of the Head Grounds Worker or other supervisory official in the Physical Plant Operations Department which performs tasks involved in the maintenance of grounds.
 
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
 
Maintenance of grounds, including preparation of soil, seeding, weeding, cutting lawns, planting, transplanting, pruning, spraying trees and shrubs, collecting garbage, trimming hedges and snow removal.
  • One (1) year of experience in the performance of semiskillled grounds keeping work
  • Must possess a driver's licence valid in the state of New Jersey
