Box Office Support - P/T Project Employee (Job ID:1527)

William Paterson University invites application for the part-time position with the Box Office at the Shea Center for Performing Arts.

 

Box Office team members are dedicated to creating excellent guest experiences for the music and arts performances at our world-class theatre.

 

The position is located in Shea Center for Performing Arts on the William Paterson University campus in Wayne, NJ.

Duration: 6-month, part-time (15-20 hrs/week); February 1 to June 30 

Compensation: $21.40 – 32.80/hr, depending upon experience 

 

Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:  

  • Support to box office operations and ticket sales including evenings and weekends for events 
  • Ushering and support to events 

Required qualifications: 

  • Experience with front of house/box office 
  • 1 or more years of prior employment with an events venue or theatre 

Preferred qualifications:  

  • Theater Manager software support (e.g., posting shows) 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in Excel
  • Experience scheduling staff for events
